Hi Ms. McCay! Well, the "Summer of 2008" is still going strong. I am spending a lot of time on the computer playing games (Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty 4), working on web sites (figuring out and installing things like this forum software), learning new computer stuff (I am finishing a PHP/mySQL class at
http://www.e-learningcenter.com , they have some free courses there too if anyone is interested), and surfing the net. I have seen some movies with Mrs. Cantlin (Ironman, Get Smart). I have worked on building a model of a Spitfire WWII airplane in 1:72 scale. I have done some puttering around in my workshop and on my motorcycle. I have visited my niece and nephew in Huntsville and will probably visit my nephew in Hoover this weekend. Add a little golf, reading, a new phonograph for converting vinyl records to CD's and then to mp3s, my first metal detector (a Garrett Ace 250 model), and just routine chores like getting new car tires, going to the eye doctor, dentist, etc. and the summer is flying! Thanks for asking! And how about your summer?
